About miss Romano
A Little Bit About MeI graduated from the University of Illinois with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I grew up, and currently live in Naperville, a town not too far north of Shorewood. This is my first year at Hofer Elementary. I am excited to get to know the students, parents, and teachers in this community!
I have two younger brothers, Michael and Joey, who are in the picture above. Michael is a sophomore at the University of Illinois, and Joey is enjoying his time in high school playing football. I also have a black lab at home named Huntley. He is 10 years old, but acts like he is still a puppy. Some of my hobbies include playing soccer and traveling. In addition to the many trips I have taken within the United States, I have also been to Germany, Austria, Hungary, Italy, and China. Each time I visit a new place I learn more about the amazing world we live in. My goal for this year is to guide your students to academic success while building their character and other skills in the classroom. As a teacher, I strive to engage my students through the use of projects and discovery activities. I also find importance in getting to know my students past their academics, so I will work on building relationships with each one of them throughout the school year. |
